Berneslai Homes’ have been voted double winners in the Regional Housing for Older People Awards 2019 with their schemes at Churchfields Close, Barnsley, and Willowcroft, Bolton-on-Dearne.
Each year the awards celebrate the successful examples of housing for later life, aiming to engage thousands of residents, staff, visitors and volunteers; provide the best possible information on specialist housing; and help and shape the future.
Said Berneslai Homes’ Community Building Manager Jill Barker: “We are delighted with this recognition. Nearly 19,000 votes were cast for 1,200 schemes across the UK, so winning an award is brilliant recognition for the schemes and the work they do for residents.”
