Stephanie Peacock, Member of Parliament for Barnsley East, recently met with LKMco, an education and youth think tank, which focuses on helping policy makers and other groups to support young people.
Stephanie discussed her work with schools and Further Education colleges in Barnsley and after the meeting she commented: “As a former teacher, I know just how important education and a young person’s formative years are in shaping their future opportunities and life chances.
“That’s why I always work so closely with our local schools and colleges here in Barnsley on issues from T Levels to apprenticeships to exclusions.
“It was great to meet with LKMco to discuss the work they do, the work I do with schools and FE colleges in our area, and ways we can work together in future.’
